Autism Swim Program in partnership with

the Earthly Angels Autism Foundation

The YMCA provides lessons specially designed for children with Autism. 1:1 student to instructor ratio. These classes are great therapy for those individuals who have autism. Our trained instructors will help your child swim in a supportive environment.

Down Syndrome Swim Lessons sponsored by

Luzerne County Down Syndrome Network

The YMCA provides lessons specially designed for children with Down Syndrome. With 1:1 student to instructor ratio, these classes are great therapy.


Master Swim Program 

The Greater Pittston YMCA announces the formation of a Master Swim Program and Swim Team. The cost is $50 for members and $75 for program members for 10, two-hour practices.  

Swimmers 18 and over are eligible to swim and compete. The program is open for swimmers of all abilities and ages. It is designed to improve stroke development and stamina. This is a great program for tri athletes and other crossing-training athletes.


YMCA Piranhas Swim Team

Coached by Aquatics Director Judy Rostkowski. Open to youths ages 6 to 14 years. Must be able to swim one lap. Team members compete throughout Northeast Pennsylvania.
