The Greater Pittston YMCA offers a Full Day Preschool Readiness program to prepare children for kindergarten. The program is designed for children ages 2 to 5 years old. The Greater Pittston YMCA is proud to offer Keystone STARS approved childcare. The program provides Standards, Training, Assistance, Resources, and Support (STARS) to facilitate continuous improvement and recognize achievement by child care providers. Keystone STARS is a voluntary program that recognizes regulated providers who exceed state health and safety certification requirements developed by the Department of Public Welfare. The curriculum focuses on numbers, letters and writing. Swim lessons are also offered for children 36 months and older.
Yellow Canary - 4 & 5 Years Old - $110 per week/$22 Daily
Blue Jay- 3 Years Old - $115 per week/$23 Daily
Red Robbin- 2 Years Old - $120 per week/$24 Daily
Half Day Preschool Program
The Greater Pittston YMCA Half Day Programs combine fun with learning, while preparing children for kindergarten. Designed for children ages 2 to 5, the Half Day Programs focus on numbers, letters, writing, math, science and social studies.

Red Robin and Terrific 2's Program
At 18 months, children join our toddler program. One teacher and five children make up primary care groups that help youngsters sail through age two. This age is all about having fun while developing independence, control of their bodies, language and social interaction skills.
Blue Jay and Thinking 3's Program
Our 3 and 4 year olds are bursting with imagination, creativity and responsibility. As they form friendships and develop conflict resolution skills they also focus on early literacy and pre-math skills.
Yellow Canary and Fabulous 4 & 5 Program
By age 5 our preschoolers are fully prepared to succeed in kindergarten.
